DESCRIPTION:The Modern Classic Cup is the official Swiss qualifier for participation in international competitions in classic sauna infusion and is aimed at infusion practitioners who wish to demonstrate their skills at the highest professional level.    The Modern Classic Cup focuses on a return to the roots of the Aufguss: precise waving technique, clean execution, and a deep understanding of heat distribution and its effect on guests. In contrast to highly staged show formats, the emphasis is clearly on technical quality and an authentic sauna experience.    Participants present classic aufguss rituals theatrical over-staging. Judging criteria include, in particular, technique, control, timing, spatial awareness, and the ability to create an intense yet pleasant atmosphere for guests. In this way, the competition deliberately sets a standard for professionalism and substance in the field of Aufguss.    The Modern Classic Cup serves as a national platform for benchmarking performance while simultaneously promoting the further development of classic Aufguss culture. The top participants qualify for international championships and represent Switzerland at the highest level.    Organized by Swiss Sauna Association, the Modern Classic Cup stands for professional excellence, clarity in judging, and the targeted promotion of genuine skill in sauna infusion.
