The Modern Classic Cup is the official Swiss qualifier for participation in international competitions in classic sauna infusions and is aimed at infusion practitioners who wish to demonstrate their skills at the highest professional level.

The Modern Classic Cup focuses on returning to the roots of the infusion: precise whisking technique, clean execution, and a deep understanding of heat distribution and the guest experience. In contrast to highly staged show formats, the emphasis is clearly on craftsmanship and an authentic sauna experience.

Participants present traditional aufguss rituals theatrical over-the-top staging. The judges focus particularly on technique, control, timing, spatial awareness, and the ability to create an atmosphere that is both intense and pleasant for the guests. In this way, the competition deliberately sets a standard for professionalism and substance in the Aufguss field.

The Modern Classic Cup serves as a national platform for comparing performance levels while also promoting the further development of the classic infusion culture. The top participants qualify for international championships and represent Switzerland at the highest level.
